My teaching style includes metacognitive skill development which allows students to better understand how they best comprehend information and recall information. We first determine the proper path to learning, then strengthen the muscles to use that path. The outcome is greater skills as an independent, lifelong learner. I am patient and support students in setting SMART goals in order to maintain a healthy sense of accomplishment. I have successfully worked with auditory, visual and kinesthetic/tactile learners. When not delivering lectures and workshops, I instruct yoga classes for all ages.
